We are looking for an experienced Engineer or Mechanic for maintenance service work on ship main engines. The position involves both field work on vessels around Finland and workshop tasks in Vuosaari. This role suits marine engineers who wish to move from sea to a shore-based position.

Your daily work will include hands-on service and repair tasks, as well as occasional troubleshooting and inspections. You will collaborate closely with other skilled professionals, ensuring that all maintenance work meets high technical and safety standards.

Main tasks:

• Maintenance and repair of Wärtsilä main engines on ships. 
• Service work on site and in workshop.  
• Cooperation with colleagues and customers to ensure quality work

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Wärtsilä main engine maintenance
• Knowledge of marine engine service and repair procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience as 2nd or Chief Engineer is an advantage
• English required, Finnish an advantage

We offer stable shore-based work in the marine sector with salary determined according to experience. Rotation plans and other terms will be agreed upon individually. The position is available for an immediate start.
