We are looking for skilled welders to join an industrial project in Raahe.

We are looking for five skilled welders to join our partner company’s project in Raahe. Our partner is a well-established operator with deep roots in the industry. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking for steady work with substantial hours in a structured industrial environment.

The role involves demanding welding on black steel (S355) using method 136. This is a 4-month project starting on May 18, 2026. The work is carried out Monday to Friday in 10–12 hour shifts, with a daily start time at 14:00 (2:00 PM). Please note that all selected candidates must pass an informal welding test on the morning of May 18 before the first shift begins.

We offer a competitive salary based on your professional background and experience. Due to the shift length, this project offers high earning potential over the four-month duration. SVM Oy provides support with travel and accommodation arrangements if needed to ensure a smooth start.

We require at least five years of experience in similar demanding welding tasks. Reliability and full commitment to the project schedule are essential.

Requirements:

  • Relevant education and at least 5 years of work experience

  • Valid class 136 PC, PF (+FW) certificates (Material: S355)

  • Valid Finnish Occupational Safety Card and Hot Work Permit

  • Good command of the English language

  • Reliability and strong commitment to the project
