We are looking for skilled electricians for long-term new-build vessel projects in Rauma and Uusikaupunki, Finland.

Your tasks include connecting and terminating cables, installing electrical systems on new-build vessels, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and checking connections. You follow electrical drawings, technical documentation and shipyard safety procedures. You work independently and as part of a professional team. This is on-site work in Rauma and Uusikaupunki. Working hours are 50–58 hours per week depending on the project and rotation.

Starting salary is from €17.00 gross per hour. The final salary will be discussed and agreed individually with each candidate based on experience, qualifications and skills. We provide accommodation, work tools, work clothes, personal protective equipment (PPE) and transportation when needed. Please note that fuel costs are not covered for short-distance travel between the accommodation and the work site. For longer-distance travel required by the project, transportation arrangements and related costs will be discussed and agreed separately

We expect a minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an electrician and specific experience with new-build vessels or shipbuilding projects. You must hold a valid SFS 6002 Electrical Safety Card, a valid First Aid Card and a valid Occupational Safety Card (Työturvallisuuskortti). For non-EU citizens, valid Finnish A1 documentation as well as residence and work permits are required. In addition, we expect good English communication skills, the ability to understand electrical drawings and technical instructions, experience with cable connections, junction boxes, switch boxes and commissioning, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a reliable, responsible and safety-oriented attitude
