Our partner has experience of almost 40 years in marine industrial. We are now looking for our collaboration partner a highly motivated, responsible and experienced JUNIOR QUALITY and COMPLIANCE who assists the Quality and Compliance Executive in maintaining, developing, and monitoring the Company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems.
The role provides support in obtaining permits, coordinating audits, maintaining compliance documentation, managing records, and ensuring that all company operations meet statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements. This position offers hands-on learning in compliance management and continuous improvement across all departments and facilities within our client company.Key Responsibilities:
Support in Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) Management:
• Assist in maintaining and developing the Company’s Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems in accordance with Group and ISO standards.
• Support the monitoring of legislative compliance and assist in updating QHSE documentation, manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Help conduct regular compliance checks and internal audits to ensure conformity with regulatory, client, and company requirements.
• Assist in obtaining, renewing, and filing permits and licenses for all Group facilities.
• Support the coordination of internal and external audits, including collection of evidence, document preparation, and follow-up of audit findings.
• Participate in risk assessments for all departments, assisting in the identification, documentation, and mitigation of risks.
• Assist in compiling QHSE performance reports and data for submission to top management and relevant authorities.
• Support in integrating QHSE practices into daily operations by working closely with management and employees, including helping to coordinate related training sessions and awareness campaigns.
Insurance and Compliance Administration:
• Support the preparation and maintenance of insurance documentation, including project-specific insurance covers.
• Assist in submitting and following up on insurance claims, ensuring all required documentation is collated and submitted accurately.
• Liaise with the Quality and Compliance Executive to maintain communication with insurers, authorities, and classification societies for certification processes.
Gate Pass, Safety, and Operational Support:
• Assist in the coordination of gate passes for employees and contractors, ensuring all H&S induction, insurance, and risk documentation are up to date.
• Support the organisation of drills and exercises related to environment, safety, and security, maintaining attendance and compliance records.
• Provide administrative support for investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental occurrences, including assisting in report preparation and tracking corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and updated records of all QHSE documents, audits, risk assessments, permits, and certifications.
• Prepare draft reports, data summaries, and documentation required for QHSE meetings and audits.
• Support in developing and maintaining Group policies, procedures, and forms as required.
Qualification and experience
- A level education, insurance qualification an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of ISO Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Previous experience or internship in a quality, compliance, or HSE-related role is considered an asset
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong organisational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Sound understanding of basic compliance, auditing, and reporting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under minimum supervision while taking initiative in assigned tasks.
• High ethical standards, confidentiality, and commitment to professional development.
